Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up for Weekly.Cool?
Once you pay using Stripe and sign up above, you'll get a confirmation email at the email address you used during checkout. After you click the confirm link, you'll start receiving Weekly.Cool email digests. Your subscription renews automatically.
How can I subscribe to another subreddit?
If you've got an active Weekly.Cool subscription, you can reply to any email from hi+weekly@nubic.tech (or just send an email to that address) with the name of the subreddit you'd like to subscribe to, along with your desired delivery day and number of posts. This process isn't automated (yet!), so it may take up to a day or two for me to manually add the extra subscription. I'll confirm with you once it's live!
How can I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription, please unsubscribe from all Weekly.Cool email digests you've signed up for. Your subscription won't renew if you have no active subreddit subscriptions.
Can I get my money back?
Just drop an email to hi+weekly@nubic.tech and I'll cancel your subscription and refund you ASAP. Sorry to see you go!
What are you doing with my data?
As little as possible. Since Weekly.Cool is a paid subscription service, I neither need to nor want to monetize the data associated with your subscription in any other way. Your data is stored securely by Stripe and accessed by Weekly.Cool via Amazon Web Services. If you have any questions about your data, or if you'd like to access, export, rectify, or erase it, please drop an email to hi+weekly@nubic.tech.
Who made Weekly.Cool?
Hi! That's me, Leon Overweel. I originally built a version of this site (called "Reddit Weekly") back in high school because it was something I wanted to use myself. To my surprise, over the years, quite a few people started using it. Once it started to overwhelm my (in hindsight) not-so-great code, I decided it was time to rebuild the site from the ground up as a paid subscription. And that's how Weekly.Cool was born! Shoutout to Daniël Vos and Jelle Vos for lots of help with the design of this landing page.
Is Weekly.Cool part of Reddit?
Nope! Weekly.Cool is a part of Nubic, and it is not owned by, associated with, or endorsed by reddit, inc. Weekly.Cool does not access your reddit account to generate weekly digests.
I have another question!
Send an email to hi+weekly@nubic.tech and I'll get back to you ASAP! You can also send me a tweet at @layon_overwhale.
